Following the support withdrawal by the party leaders of the state's Government, there had been chaos in Karnataka for quite some time now. Everyday we have some or the other news coming up from there. Today we saw the rebel MLAs filing their petition in the Supreme Court for the delay in the acceptance of their resignation by the Karnataka Assembly speaker KR Ramesh Kumar. Congress leader DK Shivakumar is trying to pecify the refuted MLAs who have been staying in Mumbai post their resignation.

We also have protests taking place in the state where the BJP workers are asking CM Kumaraswamy to submit his resignation as he has almost lost his majority in the assembly. Kumaraswamy for now has cancelled all his official programmes following the state crisis. Cong leader Shivkumar in his statement outside the hotel where rebel MLAs are staying said, I've booked a room here. My friends are staying here. There has been a small problem, we've to hold negotiations. We can't go for a divorce immediately. There is no question of threatening, we love and respect each other.
