One of the most contraversial issues out on the Indian Air Force is the recent aircraft crash that was reported on June 3. The carft's wreckage was found discovered on Thursday after a week of crash when it went missing, in the mountaineous terrains of Arunachal Pradesh by a search operation IAF Group.

12 days after the crash, IAF Chief B S Dhanoa gave out a statement over it. While addressing the Combined Graduation Parade at Air Force Academy in Dundigal, Hyderabad, he said, "We have recovered the flight data recorder and cockpit voice recorder. We will go into the detail (to ascertain) as to what happened and how do we make sure that it does not happen again."

The aircraft named AN-32 went missing half an hour post taking off where it lost contact with the control room. All the officials on board were reported dead after the discovery of the wreckage.
