Nirmala Sitharaman, the Finance Minister of the Modi Government 2.0 is ready delivering her first speech as the Finance Minister on July 5, Friday. In this speech, Nirmala will also be presenting the finance budget of the financial year 2019-2020. Nirmala emphasised upon the success of the Swacch Bharat Abhiyan under which 9.6+ crores of toilets are constructed all over India and 96 percent of the cities have become open defecation free. Sitharaman while presentin g the budget said that the projects this year would be focusing around "Gaon, Garib and Kisan" i.e., the projects would be revovling around framers, poor and rural sections of the country.

A huge ammount of 10,000 crores has already been approved earlier this year in April for the faster adoption of electric vehicles to reduces pollutions caused by the petroleum feuls. FM Sitharaman also said that India is all set to become an economy of $3 trillion this year and the schemes including 'Bharatmata', 'Sagarmala' and 'UDAN' would be focusing on bridging gaps between rural and urban areas and improve transportation too. Over 35 crore LED bulbs have been distributed in the rural regions leading to save Rs 18,341 crore annually.
